 What is glassBank

glassBank is the informational system, based on the special database. The database contains information about optical glasses and optical materials produced by different companies. glassBank is free and can be used as optical material reference by everyone who takes an interest in applied optics. Tools for optical material search and analog search are especially usefull for optical system designers.

Using optical materials of differents manufactures? Use analog search - new search tool that helps you find the material which properties are closest to specified medium!

 Data sources

Information has been recieved from russian glass catalogue (GOST 13659-78) and from official catalogues of optical glass manufactures: Schott, Ohara. The database also contains information about special materials (crystals, immersion oils etc.) from optical glass catalog of professional optical design software OPAL-PC.
